Forgotten Island Launch Timeline

25 June 2026 create date, Welcome on 5 August, and the late-August badge cluster that made the loop public.

Last updated:

Forgotten Island on Roblox did not arrive with a press-kit patch file. The official tie-in place was created on 25 June 2026 by the Forgotten Island Official Movie group (225332780). For weeks the public ledger was thin. Then badges started stamping the loop in August. This launch timeline is that calendar. It is not a reconstructed 1.0 manifesto. If a date is not on a badge or the experience page, it is not here.

The live place ID is 106198290119397 (universe 10394333907). Genre on the page: Simulation/Tycoon. Free. R15. Eight players. That package is the launch, even before Welcome existed.

25 June 2026 — the place exists

Create date is the only honest “launch” stamp we have. The DreamWorks film still had months on the calendar. The Roblox island was already a thing you could join. Early sessions were the same spine you play now: Memories across zones, Aswang pressure, Fragments, Jeepney storage, bracelet charms, album. We do not claim a tutorial rewrite on day one because nobody published one. We claim the place opened and the loop was the product.

If you are documenting a copycat place, compare create date and group. Official links are the checksum.

5 August 2026 — Welcome

The Welcome badge is the first public handshake we can date: 5 August 2026. That is more than a month after create. It is a useful reminder that Roblox experiences often ship the world first and the stamp list later. Welcome does not mean the game “started” in August. It means the developers started treating joiners as a tracked population.

New players in September still want Welcome. It is a door badge, not a skill check. Pair it with getting started rather than with Mythic greed.

20–26 August 2026 — the dense badge week

A cluster of badges landed between 20 and 26 August. That week is the first time the loop looks like a designed activity list instead of a quiet island. We will not invent a complete table of every badge name beyond what other pages already use. We will say what the cluster implies:

  • The team wanted visible goals after Welcome
  • Activities around Memories, camp, and Aswang were mature enough to stamp
  • Mythic pain was real enough to joke about (“Oof that’s gotta sting” lives in that culture even when you meet it later)

Use the badge list as the live wall. Use this page as the calendar that wall sits on.

What launch was not

Launch was not a paid early access. The experience is free. Charm Luck and VIP (wolf pack) are optional. Launch was not a PvP season. Launch was not a datamined Fragment shop with published gold costs. Anyone selling “day one codes” in June or August should be checked against the codes hub, which only lists confirmed drops.

Film marketing ran in parallel. Jo, Raissa, Raww, Manang, Batiba, and Bungi were already the faces. The Players Hub covers who they are. This timeline covers when the Roblox side started leaving fingerprints.

How to play a “launch era” session in September

You cannot roll the server back to June. You can still play like the August badges were teaching:

  1. Join, get Welcome if you lack it.
  2. First Memory on the beach. Bank.
  3. One storage purchase before ash. Jeepney tiers if you need the rank.
  4. Learn an Aswang name. Aswang and Manang if you still call everything “the flying one.”
  5. Stop when the album gained a page. Launch-era discipline is banking, not screenshoting a wipe.

The latest update is a silent 6 September bump. Do not confuse that date with this launch calendar. June created the island. August labeled the chores. September moved the build without a speech.

August badges are the first public ledger of the loop. Use them as a timeline, not as a shopping list of guaranteed drops, and do not backfill a patch essay the group never posted.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Nakali Island, Memories, and Jeepney runs.

When was Forgotten Island created on Roblox?

25 June 2026. That create date is the launch stamp this launch timeline uses, not a made-up 1.0 notes post.

When did badges start appearing?

Welcome on 5 August 2026, then a dense cluster 20–26 August. See the Updates Hub for how that sits next to the September build.

Was the game paid at launch?

No. It is free to play. Charm Luck and VIP are optional passes, same as on the latest snapshot.

Did launch include working codes?

Do not assume so. Confirm on codes. This page will not invent June promo strings.

Is Welcome required to play the loop?

No. Welcome is a join stamp. The loop is Memories and the Jeepney. Getting started covers the first hour.

How is launch different from the 6 September update?

Launch is the June create plus August badges. 6 September is a later silent bump described on latest.
